hi there i'm charlelie!

i am a bookseller, art historian and photographer from france. i studied fine arts and art history at grenoble and in paris. i take pictures, write and craft stuff. the rest of the time, i read all sorts of books.

through my images, my texts and my objects, I seek to compose small intimate and bitter sweet utopias, pieces of handmade worlds. faces and patterns repeat and echo as if attempts to answer a single question. what will remain? i am conducting research on minority archives and questioning the relationships between human skin, vegetal matter and photographic surface, on a form of future hybrid.

without any hierarchy, i accumulate, collect, assemble, write, scribble, gather plastic plants, i am interested in weeds, daydream, learn how to code and mainly "make jokes with a bit of photo in it". i also attach great importance to collective creation.
